- The power supply of the VWS 2551 and LNB supply is done by remote supply from the multi-switch, e.g. EXR 2508, via the satellite branch “horizontal low”.
- The VWS 2551 can also be optionally powered via the DC connection with the NCF 18 power supply unit (not included in the scope of delivery)
- When power is supplied via the DC connector, only the amplifier itself is supplied, but not the LNB power supply
- Kathrein Power Saving: In systems that support Kathrein Power Saving (KPS), the LNB supply is switched off as soon as no receiver is in operation.
