- Cascadable single-cable multi-switch for distributing satellite IF signals (four satellite levels; including HDTV) and terrestrial signals via one cable to up to twelve receivers
- No restriction in the variety of channels – the complete range of channels offered by a satellite is transmitted
- The selected transponder is provided by the multi-switch on a fixed frequency (user band), controlled by the receiver with a DiSEqC(TM) command set in accordance with EN 50494
- The multiswitches support the extended single-cable command set SCD2 according to EN 50607
- With the extended command set EN 50607 all user bands can be addressed, with the standard EN 50494 only user band 1-8
- Reception of the terrestrial range possible even when the satellite receiver is switched off
- Each receiver is assigned a fixed subscriber frequency (user band) (a twin receiver requires two subscriber frequencies)
- PIN code: Protection of the subscriber frequency from access by another subscriber. A cross-apartment installation is thus possible
- The integrated AGC (Automatic Gain Control) ensures a constant output level of the satellite IF signals
- Single-cable multi-switch EXE 2512 and other feed-through multi-switches, such as EXE 259, EXR 2554, EXR 2558 and EXR 2542, can be combined as required
- Up to eight multiswitches can be cascaded
- For indoor installation
- Single-cable multi-switch for up to twelve receivers, with integrated power supply unit for the LNB supply
- Low power consumption thanks to highly efficient, short-circuit-proof switching power supply in accordance with the ERP directive and energy-saving concept (the single-cable multi-switch is switched off when the receivers are switched off)
- Kathrein power saving: The LNB supply is switched off as soon as no receiver is active on the EXE 1512 or in the cascade.
This function can be deactivated, e.g. if pass-through multi-switches without “Kathrein Power Saving” are used in the cascade - LNB remote feed via the “horizontal low” input.
