SAT optics
With SAT optics from KATHREIN, satellite and terrestrial signals can be distributed over long cable runs with virtually no loss and interference-free performance. Optical transmission via fiber optics is ideal for extensive distribution networks, larger buildings, residential complexes, or professional installations where conventional coaxial links reach their limits. Thanks to the integrated AGC (Automatic Gain Control) function, automatic level adjustment is enabled, ensuring consistent and reliable signal quality. The system is easy to install and flexibly deployable using common connectors such as SC/APC and FC/PC. This allows for the efficient transmission of various satellite positions and terrestrial programs over a single fiber optic cable.
