EXR 2554

The EXR 2554 is a cascadeable through-multiswitch for expanding SAT IF distribution systems by four additional subscriber connections. It distributes four SAT bands and terrestrial signals, making it suitable for systems with a single SAT position. Each receiver requires only one cable; twin receivers require two. Switching between horizontal/vertical and low/high bands is achieved via the coaxial cable at 14/18 V and 0/22 kHz. The integrated amplifier ensures low insertion loss in the SAT range, while the integrated pre-emphasis compensates for cable attenuation. Up to eight EXR 2554/2558 units can be cascaded.
