In order to guarantee you a faster, more direct and simplified repair process, we have restructured our internal repair service.
NOTE!
From 05.08.2024 up to and including 16.08.2024 no repairs are possible in the camping/caravan area in Grassau.
This applies to both returned devices and on-site repairs.

Service for receivers:
We are currently only able to offer service for the UFS 810 and UFS 810 plus models.
Our previous service partner autronic will no longer be working for us from June 15, 2024.
You can now send almost all products, with the exception of wallboxes (see info on wallboxes below), to our service center in Grassau.
Please in future no more repairs to autronic or to Kathrein Saxony in the future.

Your unit will be repaired by the responsible repair centre within the scope of the warranty. During the warranty period, you can also send the device to our service center free of charge via your specialist dealer from whom you purchased your device.
If a repair is not covered by the warranty, you will receive a cost estimate from our service centre. In the case of processing without a warranty claim, a flat-rate inspection or processing fee plus Return postage charged. If you refuse the repair, we can dispose of the device for you free of charge. In this case, the review or processing fee does not apply.

- Before sending in the product that is the subject of the complaint, please check that it has not been operated or installed incorrectly.
If in doubt, please contact our technical customer service. - Please use the repair form for the return.
- Pack the device securely accordingly. We do not assume any liability for damage during transport.
- Please send the package, including the completed repair form and proof of purchase, to our service center at the address below. Please make sure that your package has sufficient postage.

Notes on our repair regulations
If the warranty period is exceeded or if the customer causes damage for which they are responsible and which results in a warranty exclusion, a repair will be subject to a charge.
In the event of a chargeable repair, we will check the damage to your device and provide you with a non-binding repair quote.
With your written consent, your device will be repaired immediately or replaced with a new device.
If further defects become apparent during the repair, we reserve the right to change the repair offer and send it to you again.
If the customer rejects the repair according to the cost estimate, a fee will be charged for the service rendered in preparing the cost estimate.
If a repair cannot be carried out or completed for reasons for which Kathrein is not responsible, Kathrein is entitled to charge a processing fee for the documented expenses incurred (troubleshooting = working time).
Reasons for a repair that cannot be carried out include:
- The fault in question did not occur during the inspection
- Cost estimate rejected by the customer
Flat-rate inspection fee if no error occurs or if the cost estimate is rejected:
- €25.50 + shipping costs plus VAT.
- Exception:
- 120,- € + shipping costs measuring devices plus VAT
- UFO device on request
